“Full of satiable curtiosity”
I recently graduated from the University of Portsmouth with a First Class Degree, BA (Hons) in Geography. Through my studies I have become particularly interested in Geopolitics, Development, Humanitarianism, Natural Resources and Sustainability. My focus on these areas has been shaped by fieldwork I conducted in my third year, in Ugandan refugee settlements, and my Dissertation which examined the negative impacts of natural resource abundance on a country’s economic development.
Outside of my academic and professional life I have been a part of The Scouts since I was eight, and now volunteer as an Assistant Scout Leader in Bath. Previously I have been involved in the running of Scouting in Bath and Portsmouth, have taken part in international experiences in Japan, Sweden, Iceland and Finland as both a leader and a participant.
